چک لیست جدید خانواده کالیفوریده و اولین گزارش زیرخانواده Melanomyinaeاز ایران

The family Calliphoridae have a worldwide distribution and are found in different environments. They belong to the superfamily Oestroidea and larvae of many species develop in carrion or decaying materials of various origins. The study of the blow flies of East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan provinces was intended to investigate the fauna of natural habitats such as forest and pasturelands as well as rural areas, fruit orchards and livestock farms. Different collecting methods including entomological net and Malaise traps were used across the provinces from May through October between 2017 and 2018. In addition, we were able to examine the private collection of Dr. Hassan Maleki Milani, Tabriz, Iran (collected from the same provinces during 2013–2016). These specimens were also examined and preserved at the private. In this study a total of 14 species belonging to seven genera of four subfamilies were identified of which the subfamily Melanomyinae and two species Melinda gentilis (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830), Melinda viridicyanea (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830) are reported for the first time from Iran.
